Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Trailer Is Action Packed

Star Trek Discovery's first season was a bit of a shock to traditional Star Trek fans. It looked different, felt different and the adult themed nature of some of the episodes was something that the average Trek fan definitely needed to get used to. But, thankfully by the end of the season the show seemed to fall more in line with Trek expectations and Discovery seemed to be proud to have the words "Star Trek" before its title.

The second season will be upon early next year and a brand new trailer has hit the web which was first shown at New York Comic Con just yesterday. You can watch the new trailer below and it seems the makers are continuing (thankfully) the Trek feel but with a huge emphasis on action. Look out for a bearded Spock!

The season beams in next January on Netflix in the UK, and on CBS All Access in the States.
